CET is WA’s largest training provider in the electrical industry, currently training nearly 65% of apprentices in the state. We are an award-winning institution in critical areas like safety, industry collaboration, and Training Institution of the year, which means that our students are safer, more immersed in the industry, and better trained than anywhere else.
Our industry connections mean we cater for all sections of the industry - from residential to mining, commercial to industrial - we have it all covered. Our purpose-built campuses both North and South of the river mean that there is a campus nearby, allowing you ease of access to our world-class training facilities.
But, none of this would be worthwhile without our number one priority - our students. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and our teaching methods. It means that as a student you’ll be looked after - right from your pre-apprenticeship through to your post-trade courses years on.
With a host of classrooms, workshops, and laboratories and even an auditorium at our Joondalup campus, we are proud to own the first electrical blended training centre of its kind in WA.
Our courses include electrical pre-apprenticeships, electrical apprenticeships and traineeships in addition to post-trade training for electrical and telecommunications workers. We also offer training to the general public, as well as customised training to suit your needs.
Our primary focus is on our learners - ensuring we are able to give them the best education and training we can. As such, all our staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and here to assist however they can. Our instructors have proper, hands-on industry experience, so you can be sure you're not just learning from the page - you're learning real, solid skills.
