CET offers practical and theoretical assessments to verify your competency in electrical and telecommunications work. Our services cover local, interstate, international, and cross-over assessments so you can work anywhere in Western Australia.
As a Registered Training Organisation, we fully comply with the required Standards for RTO's. In particular, the management and business standards of skills recognition and assessment services.
We assess every aspect of the electrical trade up to the Certificate IV level. Our experienced assessors work in both our simulated workplace and your own work environment. All assessments follow current competency standards, where they are available.
We currently offer assessment services for several Government agencies including; Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), Building and Energy (Licensing Division), and the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development.
We provide high-quality assessment services in telecommunications. Whether you need a skills recognition assessment or an assessment as part of your course, our industry-endorsed assessors are here to help.
For those interested in an electrical pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship, we offer pre-selection testing on a fee-for-service basis.
All electrical apprentices and pre-apprentices must hold an Electricians Training Licence before starting on-the-job training. This licence testing is usually completed through Building and Energy, either by the employer or by CET.
Simply contact us at one of our colleges, and we can get you started.
If you have undertaken previous training in the Electrical trade or any associated trades you may qualify for RPL.
For further information on any of the above please contact the administration coordinator at your chosen campus.
