This course is facilitated and certified by Skillbuild Training through an established partnership with CET.
Designed for licensed electricians who wish to gain the knowledge and skills required to design, install, fault-find and repair stand-alone power systems. Completion of the course also enables the holder to apply for Stand-alone Power System (SPS) accreditation from the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
Prior to enrolment, the following courses must be completed:
Solar Grid Connect Design and Install
Battery Storage
Learners must hold a current WA Unrestricted Electrician’s or Training Licence or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory or be in the final year of their electrical apprenticeship.
Please note that learners are required to complete a 4 hour online pre-course assignment for the unit UEERE0049.
Learners require access to AS/NZS 5033:2021 and AS/NZS 4777.1:2016 - these standards are both available on ECA WA’s Technical Knowledge Base (TKB) for ECA WA members. Visit ecawa.org.au/tkb to find out more about the TKB and ECA WA membership.
